Gmail has made communication easier and more accessible with its newly added feature of translating emails in the app itself on iOS and Android phones.
Gmail has provided the default English language to its 1.8 billion-plus users worldwide as it put the onus on the user to translate it accordingly. While users have translated emails on the web, Google has now introduced native translation integration within the app itself, so users can start translating emails according to their linguistic needs.
This feature aims to help smoothen out the translation edges and make the process of mail much more interactive and seamless.
When is it rolling out
On Androids, it will be a gradual rollout from August 8, 2023 while the feature will roll out on iOS from August 21, 2023.
It will be available to all Google Workspace customers and users with personal Google Accounts and might take up to 15 days for it to be visible.
