With this update, a user's feed will appear in chronological order when logged in but the feed sorts itself again, once logged out.

X, formerly Twitter, now sorts its feed on the number of likes with their new update. With this update, a user's feed will appear in chronological order when logged in but the feed sorts itself again, once logged out.

The social media site is focused on the number of likes and not on the number of views, as the posts with more views still show up lower in the feed than the posts with more likes.

While the reason for the change is unknown, it is likely that this update is introduced with the intention that a user is more likely to follow someone if they view their most popular post. This, however, may lead to the user's old posts showing up first instead of new ones.

As of now, X has made many several changes to the platform with additional perks being offered to X Premium subscribers like them being eligible for ad-sharing revenue and a plan to introduce audio and video call in direct messages.
