WhatsApp is working on a new update to make it easier for users to manage multiple accounts on the same device. Additionally, it is testing an improved interface for users.
This update was shared by WABetaInfo in a blog. Currently rolled out for Android beta testers, the multi-account feature allows users to add an additional account on the same device directly right within WhatsApp Settings.
The second feature involves a redesigned interface for settings, which provides users with a more modern experience when navigating through the various options of the app. It also includes a redesigned profile tab right within the chat list, making it easier for users to open the settings of the app.
These profiles will have separate chats and notifications and users can easily switch between accounts without the need to operate different devices or parallel apps. Users can only add one more account as of yet but WhatsApp might increase numbers in future updates.
