Social Samosa takes a look at some of the humorous April Fools campaigns around the world, made full of bizarre innovations that might make you wish they were real.
A yearly tradition made purely to prank others, you are not safe from your loved ones or brands. April Fool’s Day over the years has seen brands partaking in creating the most bizarre yet somewhat ‘believable’ products and services.
For many years, Google has introduced comical products like " target="_blank" rel="noopener" title="">Google Nose, Google Tulip and more as part of its April Fools campaign. When it comes to Nederland, it ‘invented’ Google Wind to keep heavy rains away from the region since it experiences downpour for 145 days a year. This somewhat believable product seemed to have fooled everyone.
Closer home, we see brands like Ola, Yatra.com and more bringing Restrooms, Master KeyCards that work at hotel rooms and more that might have made the audience wish for innovative products like these.
